The Dog Lovers Gift List 2025
Love it? Hate it? It doesn’t matter, there’s no escaping it – Christmas is literally around the corner, which means any free time you had to doom-scroll your way through endless dog reels is over, and its time to get shopping for your beautiful dog.
Each year it gets harder, not because there isn’t a great selection of dog gifts out there, but because your dog already feels like it’s Christmas Day, everyday, just by living with you. Spoiling your dog is the best feeling, until you have to go that extra mile and knock it out the park.
This years’ list has been a true collab, with all my favourite dogs sharing their best gifts of 2025 – so thanks guys for the intel!
The Dog Mum Rollercoaster: The lessons I’ve learnt from being a dog mum
Being a dog mum is such a rewarding role, but let’s face the reality – it definitely has its challenges. Not dissimilar to being on a rollercoaster ride – there’s the obvious highs and lows , the unexpected twists and turns, and with the occasional dog vomiting episode put to one side – it’s a ride that we are so pleased we took.
With Mother’s Day fast approaching – I wanted to share the lesson’s I learnt on my journey as a dog mum.
Battersea Power Station – the hip new place for dogs about town
So it was with great excitement that I headed down to Battersea Power Station on a boiling hot summer’s morning, for my latest dog photo shoot with gorgeous Lewie, the 5 year old cockapoo. For those who have yet to make the trip – I can’t recommend the area enough. Battersea Power Station is a decommissioned Grade II listed coal fire station, located on the South Bank and the rebuilt power station did not disappoint in its stature and its sympathetic modernisation. It delivered a sharp industrial contrast to the soft and wild settings of London’s parks where I normally shoot.
Triple Trouble - adventures at The Ashridge Estate in Berkhamsted
So where do you start with a dog photoshoot for three dogs at the same time? My advice… have a big breakfast and come armed with lots of energy!
Max, Leo and Arran were the three musketeers during my recent dog photoshoot shoot at the beautiful Ashridge Estate in Berkhamsted. The dog friendly estate is 5000 acres and provides a wide variety of landscapes including beech and oak woodlands, commons and chalk downlands and is located about an hour’s drive from North London.
My best hacks for keeping your dog happy this summer
Who wouldn’t want to be a dog owner during the summer months? It’s perfect dog walking time, the sun is out, the flowers are in bloom, pub gardens are open and there is nothing not to love about having your bestie by your side. However we all know, that as we embrace the beautiful summer months, there maybe a few challenging twists and turns on our journey that can be offset with a little bit of clever doggy prep!
